Overall, while I liked this place for the year I was there, I found out I was paying a pretty high price for subpar amenities and lackluster property management. Sure, the unit itself was pretty nice (good flooring, good natural light, good closest space), but the gym is the size of a utility closet and the pool is not on the rooftop, giving you a view of the CVS across the street. I moved to a place on Sunset that is the same amount of space, a way bigger gym, and a rooftop pool, for $200 less... per month (close to $400 cheaper once my concession kicks in). Also, this place was not willing to give me a 12 month lease, saying a 13 month lease is "standard". FYI, I work in real estate development and I work on apartment projects - nowhere is 13 months a standard lease term.
Lastly, I decided to move out only 10 days before my renewal date. I expected to pay the prorated next month of rent per my lease terms, but I had my final inspection on June 30, so I was not in the unit for the entire month of July. But, as part of my move-out charges, they charged me a prorated cost for parking, pet rent, trash, a late fee (even though I told property management when I was leaving and to take the prorated rent out of my deposit) and over over $800 collectively between cleaning charges and pest control - just for reference, on my final move-out inspection, the maintenance staff said it was the cleanest unit they had seen on a move-out ever, with only one nail in the wall. So, I paid a $2,800 deposit and only got $147 back.
Management will find any way to charge you and pass along Turnover expenses, even if they are not justified. Management is also often incredibly unresponsive and takes days to get back to you. With all of this in mind, no wonder they can't keep anyone in that building for more than one year at a time...

Never worth for long stay
The building is clean and conveniently located. However, the side facing the nearby school can be quite noisy. I wouldn't recommend it for a long stay, as you might be charged about half of your deposit for reasons that seem unrelated!!!

Not Worth It
They took over $1,200 from my $2,200 deposit without telling me, security for the building is not acceptable, and sadly is average for the price, I do not recommend living here

INCREDIBLE SPOT
There is just something special about this place and you can tell so much thought was put into the building layout and unit designs. It gives a calm and minimalist aesthetic that you’ll want to show off to everyone you know. Dinner parties are a must. The pool area is secluded and cute that you’ll wanna go out there and relax on the daily. I am so excited to call this place home. Extra kudos to Cameron, a genuine and welcoming human who I hope you get the chance to encounter :) Come be my... neighbor!
