WARNING ABOUT 2+ YEAR CONSTRUCTION PROJECT

I absolutely LOVED this apartment… it took me 6 months to find one I was truly happy with. It was a recently renovated top floor unit with a balcony. The on-site manager, Christy, is incredibly helpful and the neighbors were friendly. The location is wonderful.

The reason for my low rating is that I was forced to move due to a 2+ year construction zone starting directly next door only about 9 months into my lease. It’s insanely loud and shakes the entire side of the building from 8am to 5 or… 6pm, 5 days a week & is supposed to go on for the next 2 years (from 2026 onward). We had absolutely zero notice about this project starting. I had hoped the property management company would take measures to help with the excessive noise. I requested reasonable potential sound proofing measures, but MZL did not respond to a single one of my emails or calls, so I was forced to leave for my sanity. The apartment became unbearable. It caused immense anxiety and felt like an earthquake that lasted all day and shook every room in my apartment for 9-10 hours daily. I became incredibly sleep deprived. I tried ear plugs and multiple white noise machines —but it was truly intolerable. I literally ended up in the ER from the stress & sleep deprivation while getting ready to move. I see they have also raised the rent when they should be lowering it for anyone willing to tolerate the crazy amount of noise and disturbances coming from next door. It should be 1/2 price for anyone to even consider moving in there. If you ever have an issue that requires MZL (the actual property management company) to help you, you will find yourself completely on your own.

Ideal Location, Welcoming Community, & Excellent Management

I moved in about three weeks ago and have really enjoyed my experience so far. The property manager has been wonderful—very communicative and supportive—which made my cross-country move much smoother. The apartment itself has great natural light, and I’ve already met several friendly neighbors. With the apartment doors opening to the pool and courtyard area, it’s easy to connect with people while still enjoying a quiet, peaceful community.

I also appreciate the diversity of residents, which… creates a welcoming environment for anyone. The location is ideal—our street is calm and relaxed, yet just steps away from all the excitement West Hollywood has to offer. Overall, I’m very happy with my decision to move to 909 Palm Ave and look forward to continuing to call it home.

Amazing place to live!!

I’ve lived in this apartment building for the past 5 years, and it’s truly been a wonderful experience. The location is unbeatable — close to everything I need. All of the neighbors are respectful and calm, which makes it feel like a true home.

Christy, the property manager, is an absolute gem. She’s responsive, proactive, and always on top of any maintenance or building needs. It’s rare to find someone so attentive and genuinely caring — she truly goes above and beyond to make sure the… building is safe & everything runs smoothly.

If you’re looking for a well-managed, peaceful place to live, I can’t recommend this building enough!

A Wonderful Living Experience

I've had an amazing experience living in this apartment complex, and a big part of that is thanks to Christy, our amazing property manager. From day one, she has been incredibly proactive, responsive, and genuinely dedicated to making this a great place to live.

She’s always on top of maintenance requests, communicates clearly and promptly, and consistently looks for ways to improve the property overall. It’s clear she truly cares about the residents and the building.

Each of the apartments… has been beautifully remodeled with thoughtful design and quality finishes, making them not just functional but truly enjoyable to live in. The attention to detail in the updates really reflects the care and pride put into maintaining the property.

It’s rare to find someone so hands-on and committed, and it makes a huge difference. I feel lucky to have lived here for the past 4 years and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a well-managed, welcoming community in the heart of WeHo.
