Leffingwell Apartment Complex

I'm going to be honest, I really liked the inside of the two bed two bath unit. However, I found the tour experience to be very unprofessional considering the quality and price point of these units. There is no website or contact listed online other than through the realtor or apartments.com website, which just includes a phone number. I had difficult getting in touch with someone using this number, having to reach out multiple times. This isn't unusual, but most other apartment complexes have… websites where you can find information and schedule tours online without having to wait for someone to call you back. Anyway, I finally got a tour scheduled, I drove 40 minutes up to the apartment to meet someone who was going to show me around, and when I arrive I find no one. I wait around a bit in case they are running late, then I call the management company. They call me back after looking into what's going on and tell me that the person showing me around is running late and on their way. I wait around some more only to get a call from the person supposed to show me around explaining they didn't check their calendar and forgot our appointment. I expected them to then say they were on their way, but instead they gave me door codes and left me to tour the place alone. This was after I had waited around for over 20 minutes. If I wanted a self guided tour, I expect it to be a lot easier to set up than this was. They also said that the one bedroom unit, that I had come to tour, was reserved for affordable housing applicants. That also would have been nice to know before I made the effort to view these apartments.

If the management company thinks this is acceptable, then I have concerns about how they will handle issues that might come up down the road. I'm afraid that the experience turned me away from the apartment, regardless of how I feel about the unit itself. Read More
