We are overall very unhappy with living here. When we signed our lease, we were told that there was going to be security patrolling the apartment complex. They were discontinued without the residence, knowing. Second, there was a major wind storm throughout our state, and I noticed that there was a U-Haul and trailer parked in the fire lane, I emailed the office and April the property manager wrote me back saying that she approved for them to park in the fire lane. There has been very unsafe... fertilizer laid on the grass and all over the sidewalks without the residence knowing, I found out what kind of fertilizer it was and it has a big warning on the front that it is not safe for children. The communication with the leasing office has been awful. The location of this apartment complex is wonderful and very easy access to everything around it. It’s just too bad that we’ve had so many issues. It has a lot of potential.

Regarding security, we understand how important this is to...
our residents. While patrol services may be adjusted from time to time, we are actively exploring ways to continue supporting a safe community environment and will take your feedback into consideration as we evaluate options.
We also want to clarify that any temporary parking accommodations—such as for moving vehicles—are approved with safety in mind and are intended to be short-term. That said, we understand your concern regarding fire lane access and will continue to be mindful of how these situations are handled and communicated.
In regard to the landscaping, we take resident safety very seriously. The products used are applied according to guidelines; however, we understand your concern and agree that clearer communication in advance would be beneficial. We will be working with our team to improve notifications moving forward.

We have been residents at Rockvue for years now and overall it has been a very pleasant experience. We would love a few more amenities, but the new yoga room has been a nice addition which is a great move in the right direction.
