Downhill at Inkwell Baseline Apartments
This apartment complex has a lot of unresolved maintenance and safety issues that management continues to delay fixing. Safety issues in this building have become unacceptable, and residents are continuing to be ignored despite repeated complaints and requests.
The third-floor exit door is completely broken and won’t open, This is the same area connected to another broken door issue that has been unresolved for an extended period of time.
Which is a serious safety concern in an emergency... —especially for residents on the left side of the building who rely on that exit.
This is not just an inconvenience — it is a serious safety hazard. Residents on the left side of the building cannot safely or quickly exit the building in the event of an emergency.
Additionally, the hot tub is still broken, and the pool no longer even feels heated despite being advertised as a heated amenity. We also requested repairs for our window weeks ago. Maintenance stated someone special needed to come fix it, yet nothing has happened and there has been zero follow-up or communication since then.
There are also several other ongoing issues throughout the property:
The elevator constantly beeps with a red warning light on the first floor.
The trash chute room has a sewer drain sticking up from the floor that creates a tripping hazard every single time someone walks through.
Multiple maintenance and safety concerns appear to be continuously delayed or ignored.
The most frustrating part is the communication. It feels like residents are told what they want to hear, but no real action follows. For the price people pay to live here, these issues should not be ignored for this long.
