So-So

Maintenance is quick to respond sometimes, not at all at other times. Management ignores its own rules out of convenience. Parking and thoroughfares are difficult most of the time. The whole facility has a dated, sort-of run-down feeling. This facility is pet friendly, but not children friendly. Laundry room is spacious and the residents are usually accommodating , but the machines break down frequently. There also is evidence that some tenants get special privileges while others do not. It's… generally far more expensive than you would expect for what you get. It's a so-so place to live, temporarily.

Extremely well managed complex

I've lived at Summit View for 3 years. The buildings themselves are older but the management is so good that it isn't an issue. Maintenance requests are usually dealt with the same day. The main office is responsive to calls, e-mails and drop-ins. They communicate with us very well and proactively, and they organize regular optional events for engaging with the community. My only gripe with the complex is that there is no in-unit laundry and that the air conditioning is in the living room and… not the bedroom where I think it's needed more. However, there are plenty of washers and dryers so I've never had to wait to do my laundry. People usually get window units to deal with the bedroom AC thing.

There are far better places to live

The parking is horrible. People constantly are ruining the hut tub and pool area as it's shut down every week or 2. The management is not considerate of people's work/sleep schedules. I work nights not getting to bed till 2am-4am and they have people working using a hammer drill on the walls and banging on the walls at 8am. This place is a mess when it comes to managing parking as well. The water is shut off almost everyday cause the water system constantly breaks. Mold started forming on the… bathroom wall because the unit above was leaking from their shower drain. Carpet in my unit was never changed and the bedroom carpet started growing mold and I had to buy treatment in order for it to be fixed. The air conditioner is a window unit built into the wall and doesn't reach the bedroom unless you use a fan or buy a new unit for the window in the bedroom causing it cost more in power.

Please know that we are currently undergoing major property improvements,… including building repairs and parking lot upgrades, to prevent more serious issues in the future and to eliminate hazards like potholes. While we recognize the inconvenience this causes—especially when work hours conflict with residents’ schedules—we truly appreciate your patience. These disruptions are temporary, and the improvements will benefit everyone in the long run. Regarding the pool and hot tub, it’s part of our routine maintenance to periodically drain and refill the hot tub to maintain proper chemical balance and ensure a safe, healthy environment—especially with high usage. The pool has only been closed a few times, and only when necessary to complete essential work in the area. Lastly, if you are experiencing any signs of mold or believe there may be an issue, we encourage you to contact the office directly. We’re more than happy to send a technician to inspect and address any concerns as quickly as possible. We value your residency and appreciate your understanding as we work to enhance the community. Such a horrible place.

Unless you have a new furnished apartment that they recently did renovations on, everything is insanely old and worn down. Stuff in our apartment breaks every week and the first day we moved here out shades fell off. Remakes of cigarettes and keeps getting more expensive. The neighbors are rude (not summit views fault) but the staff is rude too. The second night we had been there (about 4 years ago) one of the staff slapped her son across the face because he yelled at me and my family for being… in the gym…sounds hella made up but it’s for real.

Whatever you do! do not move in here!!!

This place is way over priced.
The AC doesn’t keep up in the summer on average in the summer the apt was 85 degrees.
The front office is very shady. They said they gave me a parking pass but never did. My friend got a job there and looked it up. Of course a new parking pass is 50$.
When moved out was charged 200$ for not returning it!!!!
