Not Bad

I lived here during the pandemic. I have since lived in several other apartments since then and this one was one of the best. My apartment was very out-dated, the walls were paper thin and the air conditioning sucked. I also had an issue with mice under my six which was fixed promptly and thankfully they didn't get anywhere else in the apartment. Despite all that, it's still a nice place to live. Extremely quiet neighborhood, affordable, small pool and gym, never felt unsafe, and every single… time I called the office during office hours, someone responded which is incredibly important and lacking in many apartment complexes. Neighbors weren't great including some idiot who would rev his motorcycle everyday at 6am but there is only so much they can do about things like that.

Best Apts in the best neighborhood

Americana is the great place to rent and live. The location is amazing, and the staff is very personable. I just purchased a condo after living at Americana for the past seven or eight years, (can't remember)
From the maintenance crew to management, I couldn't ask for a better rental situation.
Less corporate, more tenant friendly, and the rent stayed fairly reasonable each year I renewed.
I recommend them highly

Renter Beware

Especially if you're looking for a short term lease. Seriously, just keep looking! They advertise short term leases but they will definitely screw you on them. We were quoted 2 different rates in the leasing office and then sent a lease with a different and much higher amount. Wish we'd walked away right then because the charges and fees never end

DONT LIVE HERE

After being repeatedly harrassed by another tenant and by extension the management, I've been forced to relocate to feel safe. I'm being charged a one month rent fee to "relot" my appartment even after many calls to management reporting harassment and lack of action.

Great place to live, awesome location

We have lived at Americana Lakewood for just over a year. We chose this complex online based on the reviews and location and we have been very happy with our experience here.
The management team is great. We have mostly worked with Jesse in the leasing office, and he has always been extremely helpful and friendly with any questions or issues we have had. Their online resident portal allows you to pay rent online, which is very convenient. You can also submit maintenance requests online, and… they take care of it within a day.
We live on the top floor, and have never had a problem hearing our neighbors.
The grounds are kept clean and well maintained. They do allow pets and provide many "dog stations" with plastic bags and disposal bins. The pool and hot tub area are also kept very clean, and the hot tub is open year round!
The location is great, with easy access to 6 and 70, as well as the Federal Center light rail/bus station. We moved here from VA and this is a great starting point because you are close to the mountains but also close to Denver.
I highly recommend Americana Lakewood!
