Good to live here and call it home

As a senior citizen, starting over again, it was a daunting task. I had my ideas about this place, but most of them were dispelled. The staff, including the security officers are Helpful, courteous, and always willing to help. The halls, floors, always clean, or being cleaned. The old reviews about the smell of Weed being detected, never Once can I agree with that even on elevators clean. The Staff is in the business of making you feel like family. So far it's been great experience. Southeast is… Changing, even so Slow to my taste, but it's Trending in the right direction. I feel very comfortable about asking, family friends to come visit. This is My New Home!

Zero stars

You’ll be a fool to move into that building.

The managers don’t care. It’s roach and rat infested. They are living in the vents and the mgt team will ignore ya requests.
I had no ac last summer and i and no avail in the unit. I asked to be moved and the found every excuse not to move me. I have their maintenance team and the contractors on video saying it won’t get better and I should babe moved.
If you move here you gonna regret it. Your water is off every other day nor will they provide you… with resources to get by.

The corporate office never called back and I left multiple msgs

Lastly they play blame game on one another and nothing is don’t but solar panels

As you likely know, the community fell into complete disrepair prior to our involvement. We apologize for any inconvenience the… construction is causing you. We make all proper notifications to prepare for system shutdowns and have a full-time Project Coordinator dedicated to resident relations during the construction period. Throughout the construction, we have been incredibly flexible with residents and we encourage you to come to our office to discuss a plan for the renovation of your apartment and how we can accommodate you until that time. We are not aware of infestations within vents and would appreciate the opportunity to inspect your apartment. Your description and concern does speak to the necessity of the construction being completed. Park Southern Apts

I have been living at Park Southern Apartments for over 7 years and I enjoy living here. I have not had any problems with other residents and we are under new management so, they have a professional cleaning company to clean the building and they do a great job. The leasing office staff are nice and pleasant as well as informative. Maintenance could be a little better in reference to resident requests. Also, Park Southern is the most affordable private owned high rise community in the District… with all utilities included and other great features. They have food drives along with special events and security is always available. I do feel that they need a bit of an upgrade due to the fact that it is a very old building but they provide ample size 1 to 3 bedrooms. Whenever I move, it will be because I am ready for something new and different. For anyone looking to establish themselves or fit within the low income margin, I would definitely recommend Park Southern Apartments for you!

Most Affordable

The rent here at Park Southern is extremely affordable and all utilities are included. It's located on the metrobus line and in close proximity to the train station. It's also nearby a hospital and centrally located between two shopping centers.
The swimming pool is currently closed and some residents have complaints of rodents(mice). Alot of the units have been remodeled and have been upgraded with new appliances as well as new carpeting and flooring.
Overall it's a nice place to live as it… allows you more financial flexibility and a comfortable space.
