Not worth the Price

The only thing good about this place its in the middle of everything, you will have no problem with transportation or make necessary errands due to grocery stores, restaurants, bars etc are all within walking distance. As far as the amenities, its only the gym which is small and the outside side area which is share by other businesses, not much utilities included just trash and water, all apartments has a washer and dryer in the unit. Therefore, the quality of the apartment is fair but not worth… the expense.

Don’t do it

It was barely worth it for the discounted pricing but with the increase to match the prices of newer, cleaner, amenity-rich surrounding buildings—all you’ll have is regret. Its old and run down, no amenities, rodents and bedbugs in building.

Review of 200 K Street

This building is in a good location which is the greatest benefit of living here. After that, things go downhill very rapidly. The building is showing signs of deterioration and needs a major makeover yesterday. The elevators are worn out and need to be replaced. The parking garage is an eyesore and in much need of repair. The rent is competitive, but it would behoove the building owners to make much overdue improvements to the building or there may be a mass exodus of tenants within the next… few years.

GET IN NOW - Only getting better

I have lived at Carmel Plaza for over six years and have seen such improvement to the area, but also to Carmel Plaza. For the area, you will not find a better bargain. The apartments are equipments with washer and dryers, and the normal kitchen amenities. The K street side apartments have a wonderful view and great sun.
You won't find at the new luxury amenities such as floor to ceiling windows, granite counter tops and community centers that you will find at the newer buildings in the area,… but remember this is RENT. Save some money and be in a decent, but not fancy building, so you can pay off student loans and other bills.
