Do not tour, do not sign, run away as fast as you can.
Resident of 11 months. It is not possible to reach anyone from the leasing office since blue jay acquired the building. I have knocked on the doors of the leasing office on and off for 2 weeks (during office hours) and have never received a response. I have called maybe a dozen times today as well.
Maintenance requests are slow and require many messages to have people come and deal with appliances and pest issues. There are a lot of pest issues due to the open trash cans behind the buildings; I... live on the 5th floor and have had mice and roaches in my unit and throughout the building.
They charged me for June rent in the middle of may despite my lease ending on June 1 and I can’t reach anyone to speak about it. DO NOT RENT HERE. You will not hear from them after the lease is signed. The location is amazing but my rent has gone up since I’ve signed i’ve moved in and they will be raising it again if i can’t contact anyone to get out of my lease. I don’t even have a copy of my lease since they made me sign again after the acquisition and have been dodging all contact.
Blue Jay plays with the money, time, and emotions of their tenants. Do not tour, do not sign, run away from this property as fast as you can.
