It's a lovely place, really appreciate how clean and quite it is as well as being safe. Move in was very accomodating, made it as simple as possible.

Compass at the Grove is going down hill

I have lived here for 1 1/2 years. When I first moved in the Compass was clean and seemed to be a safe environment. Now non-residents are seen taking over the common areas outside to include the picnic tables and hammocks, a person was found sleeping in the bushes, drug deals seen happening in the parking lots, needles found on the property, and though this is a non-smoking facility marijuana is constantly smelled within the hallways. Cleaning has slacked off considerably. One of the elevators… has been broken for over six weeks. This summer broken glass was found in the pool. Lots of times the outside lights do not work and you find yourself walking in the dark. When discussed with management there doesn't seem to be much concern. I will say the maintenance staff does an outstanding job and the grounds are taken very good care of. If you don't care about safety and cleanliness then this is the place for you!

My experience so far is great. The only reason why I don’t give five stars is because the hallway needs to be clean more frequently. The gym is so nice, just refill the wipes and empty the trash.

Concierge desk is super. They sometines deliver larger amazon pkgs to my door because im iin a wheelchair

Quiet place to live. The onlty thins i hear are the whipporwill birds singin outside my windilow and that demented locomotive engineer who sometime blasts his freight train whistle at 2 am as he ambles thru downtown newark.

This location is ideal. More than a dozen restaurants at the grove. Supermarket. Bowling. Pickleball! (Hope you survive). Liquor store. But why no marijuant… dispensary in this mall? The closest one is several miles away.
