Trash pickup inadequate, pet owners not curbing dogs gutters in poor condition property not well maintained

The laundry rooms floorboards were torn up for months and the driers didn’t work for over a month. The pools were locked to residents even when it was 80 degrees outside. Horribly loud complex with thin walls and a loud neighbor who screamed nearly every night at 2-3 am. I asked management to resolve the issue multiple times with no results. They just gave lip service saying they would but he didn’t stop screaming in the early morning. The last time I went to the front desk lady to ask her to... talk with him she said they already had weeks ago and when I said he still was screaming in the morning she asked me what more did I expect her to do. The outside looks fine, its inside the apartment where everything is rundown. They didn't even do a walkthrough of the place before leasing it to me and I moved here from over 13 hours away so I couldn't see the place myself without burning a few days traveling. The toilet rocks side to side heavily, the bathtub had black mold in it and still does have it in the chalk baseline. The bathroom faucet jiggles around heavily and sprays in 3 different directions. Including directly at whoever... turns it on so I haven't used that since moving in. The smoke detector wasn't installed just left on the kitchen counter and the base on the wall was the wrong size so we couldn't put it up there ourselves. Several cabinets in the kitchen have mildew in them. The HVAC filter is jammed in sideways and doesn't block dust from getting in the unit so its all throughout the ventilation so I smell the previous owners burnt dog hair and other things when turning on the heat. The HVAC unit also has a big hole in the back blowing some of that dust and air into the back of the HVAC closet. Its been over 2 weeks and they showed up to put up a new base for the smoke detector, and bolt down the toilet which still shakes but doesn't rock side to side. We gave them all these issues in the first few days of moving in. Don't move into this complex. There are plenty of other things like thin walls and loud neighbors but the maintenance stuff is really all on the complex if they can't get someone out here to fix it within a 2 week window. Showed up for 20 minutes just to install the smoke detector base and bolt down the toilet then left never to be seen again. Lee mas

Don't waste your money there are much nicer apartments in Dothan for around the same price. If you want loud neighbors poor maintenance and bugs this is your spot!!!!
