Scheduled a tour, but was stood up
I had a tour scheduled for this apartment complex but unfortunately was stood up. I booked the tour through Apartments.com and arrived as planned. I later learned that the leasing agent had emailed about an hour before the scheduled tour to confirm the tour, but since I was getting ready I didn’t see the email in time (I typically expect a text or call for time-sensitive confirmations). I took full responsibility and apologized, and the agent told me he was still on his way and would call me. An... hour passed with no call and no one ever showed up.(He never reached back out.)
Since I was on a tight schedule and came from out of state specifically to apartment hunt, this was frustrating and left a poor first impression. If this is how potential tenants are handled, it raised concerns about how current residents may be treated as well. As a result, I crossed this property off my list.

It seems there may have been a small miscommunication, and I sincerely apologize for any part I... played in that. During our conversation, I mentioned that I would call you again once I arrived on the property. I did come over immediately after we spoke, and I attempted to reach you by phone twice, but both calls went to voicemail.
I understand how that could have been confusing or disappointing. I should have followed up with an email as well, and I apologize for not doing so. We care deeply about our residents and prospective residents, and we would truly appreciate the opportunity to turn this around.
