Don't even bother
The ONLY reason this place gets even one star is the location--Laguna Canyon is stunning, close to trails and the beach. But don't be fooled. This property is a nightmare and Greystar is one of the worst management companies you could ever deal with.
Management: Greystar is a soulless corporation that does not care about residents. Turnover in the office is constant, and while a few staff members mean well, they're stuck working for a machine that chews them up and spits them out.
The Reality... of Living Here:
Crime: My catalytic converter was stolen in my private spot. Management's response? Nothing. Not even basic support.
Flooding Disaster: A "500-year flood" destroyed ground-floor units in San Tropez. Tenants were left hanging with zero real help. Shameful.
Rodents: This place is INFESTED. Mice chew through walls. Traps fill up constantly. Pest control shows up, shrugs, and leaves. The problem never goes away.
Noise & Dogs: Paper-thin walls and ceilings mean you hear EVERYTHING. And what's with all the pit bulls in tiny apartments? I love dogs, but this setup is unsafe and miserable.
Weed Everywhere: Supposedly "non-smoking," yet the entire property reeks of weed drifting off decks and into units. If you don't want your home to smell like a dispensary, good luck.
Bottom Line: This property has gone completely downhill over the past few years. It's unsafe, dirty, mismanaged, and ridiculously overpriced for what you get. The location is the ONLY thing it has going for it.
