Yolanda was born in Bucaramanga and raised in Girardot, Colombia. The oldest of five children, Yolanda has always been very strong willed, tenacious and persistent. She studied and graduated in Modern Languages at the Universidad de Los Andes in Bogota, after a year abroad at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Yolanda obtained a degree as Specialist in Translation from Los Andes as well. One of her passions is teaching and she had the opportunity to do it as an English Professor for some of the most prestigious Universities in Bogota like Los Andes, El Rosario and Piloto de Colombia in Girardot, where she not only taught English but also developed the English Program the University put in place at the time. Raised in a large family and with entrepreneur parents of diverse businesses, she took a two-year break in 1989 to dive into the family business. This experience made Yolanda move towards corporate as translator for large companies in Colombia and later as manager of FEXADE. In 2001, when Yolanda arrived in California, she knew exactly what she wanted to do: she obtained her license as a Real Estate Sales Agent. She has dedicated her life to serving and helping others make their dreams come true. Her true passions, teaching and managing, have made Yolanda a reliable trusted advisor with lots of respect among her clients. She works day after day, as one of the most recognized Realtors in the area, offering not only great service before and during the transactions, but most of all after they close. The majority of her businesses come from referrals from past and current clients.
