Halford Gardens Apartments

I'm a person who spends most of my time outside the home. This community is not acceptable even when you spend most of your time outside your home. There were many times that I came home to realize that bath tub and toilet is flooded and the sewage found its way to the living area! In one instance we had to wait the entire day for someone to come and fix it. I've changed the shower curtain 2-3 times by now!

But the real horror begins when you actually start to live/work in your home during the... pandemic! The walls are so thin that you can hear your neighbors talking or even when their cellphones vibrates. Let alone when the kids scream or they do other things!

But the worst part for me was when they started to do construction work on the unit above. The noise is so unbearable that I had to either cancel my zoom/webex meetings or go to my car so I can hear or talk. Let alone the embarrassment of the other colleagues keep telling me that there is a very bad noise coming from my side! The situation is so unlivable that I can't get my work done. When I complained, the answer was that construction work is part of your contract so live with it. This construction situation is still going on to this day! I'm seriously thinking about paying the penalty and breaking the lease so I can at least maintain my sanity! Do yourself a favor and stay away! Lee mas

I moved here in May 2019 after looking around many apartments near by. The leasing staff were very helpful in entire process.
pros :

Nice layout
really a garden like community.
close to shopping complexes.
huge patio.
renovated units.

cons:
missing in unit washer dryer in 1bed apartment.

overall highly recommended.

Pros:
1. Maintenance staff is good.
2. Good amenities like Gym, Hub and TT table.

Cons:
1. Property managers are not helpful. At times she gives wrong information.
2. Safety issues as heard few cases of apartment and car breaking in.
3. Apartment is small and has limited storage space.

There’s no gate and people come knocking on my door asking for money and if I don’t give it to them they curse and try and provoke me. Big scary guys doing this at night. The place looks nice but there’s zero security it sucks. I’m leaving ASAP.

This is my second year living here and I have to say the apartment managers, Lily and Julie are super friendly and helpful! They make living here truly feel like home! The hardwood floors are exactly what I've been looking for, as I do not like carpeted apartments. The apartment is furnished with stainless steel appliances and a generous Patio/Yard area. The "Hub" is a great place to study and work from home, which is super important for me, as I do both. There is always plenty of parking both... within the complex and on the street. This is a great location, right off of two major expressways and freeways! There are more then enough communal washing machines which also take card, so I do not need to scramble for quarters every time i need to do laundry. I would definitely recommend this place! Lee mas
