Just okay
Living at Independence Village has been disappointing. The so called “renovated” units are just old apartments with a cosmetic facelift — stainless steel appliances, a granite countertop, and brown cabinets sloppily painted white (the original color shows through with use). Plastic cabinet drawers break easily. Walls are extremely thin, so don’t expect any privacy, and smoke from neighboring units can drift into yours. Cracks in the walls and a poorly repainted tub only add to the overall worn... down feel. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.
