“Beautiful Apartments with an Amazing View”

Living at The Harbor Grand Apartments has been such a great experience. The apartments are spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to feel at home. One of my favorite parts is the stunning view — it’s absolutely breathtaking and something I look forward to every day.

The community itself is clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. The staff and maintenance team are always friendly and quick to help, which makes a big difference. On top of that, the location is perfect, with...
easy access to local shops, restaurants, and the waterfront.

Overall, Harbor Grand offers the perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and scenery. I couldn’t be happier living here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful place to call home.

A wonderful place to call home

I’ve really enjoyed living at The Harbor Grand Apartments. The staff is professional and friendly, maintenance is always quick, and the community is clean and well-kept. The apartments are spacious and modern, and the location is super convenient. Overall, a great place to call home!

Do Not Recommend – Poorly Managed and Neglected Property

Living here has been a deeply frustrating experience. The elevators are constantly out of service, yet management is always quick to collect rent and slow to make any meaningful repairs or replacements. Many of the advertised amenities are either broken or have been out of order for years—the hot tub hasn’t worked in over six years, the pool is not heated as claimed, the sauna doesn’t function, and the AC in the gym has been out, turning it into a health hazard.

Fire safety is a major concern....
The fire alarms don’t work reliably, and code compliance is frequently called. Sprinklers in the units were painted over—something the fire marshal flagged over a year ago, yet nothing has been done.

Parking is a nightmare unless you pay extra for an assigned garage space. The area is not safe, especially for walking or biking. My bicycle was stolen from the garage after someone cut the lock, and theft seems to be a common issue.

On top of all this, there are serious concerns with harassment. My girlfriend couldn’t even relax by the pool without being harassed by residents yelling and taking inappropriate photos from balconies. This kind of behavior is ignored by management.

Promises about rent renewals and final billing were never honored. After moving out—leaving the apartment cleaner than when I moved in—I was still unfairly charged from my deposit. Once your lease is signed, it feels like you’re on your own. Corporate is unresponsive and clearly prioritizes their more profitable properties on the other coast.

The only positives here are Marty and the maintenance staff, who genuinely try to help. Unfortunately, they’re the exception in a place that is otherwise poorly managed and neglected. I strongly advise looking elsewhere.

Please do not move here

Please do not move here. I have been living here for a year now, and the elevators never work, which seems like not a big deal, but the higher level you are the worse it is. There is constant issues developing weekly. The fire alarms have not worked for a couple weeks. Management has changed frequently.

Not luxury at all

The good: the sunset views
The bad: everything else

I initially rented here as I was told it was "luxury" living. After two years here, the bad has so overwhelmingly outweighed the good, it's not even a hard decision to leave. My experience with the staff has been pleasant overall, however the condition of the building leaves a lot to be desired.

Elevators - they are the most unreliable and frustrating part of living here. There are two that service my side of the building, and for 8 months we...
only had one. Which means extremely long wait times. Even that working one would fail occasionally, leaving guests to walk up and down the stairs. My neighbor, on the 28th floor, was in a wheelchair and stranded downstairs during one of these occasions. My girlfriend and I even got stuck inside the elevator and had to call the fire department. After about 15 minutes, someone from the office pried open the door from the outside.

Pool/hot tub/pool area - They are under construction, and have been for months. The hot tub is constantly disgusting and green. The cloth furniture outside is extremely dirty, if it's even there. The owners building pool is undergoing a major rebuild, so the noise of heavy machinery is constant. Concrete saws, jack hammers, scrapers, etc.

Sauna - I reported to property management that only half the heating coils worked on the sauna heater. This means it takes forever to heat up and the temperature does not reach very high for a dry sauna. This was 5 months ago and the sauna heater is still running on half the coils. Also, there is a bathroom in the sauna area that has been under construction since I moved in 2 years ago. Instead of finishing the job, the door was closed with an out of order sign placed on it.

Gym - the gym is extremely small for a building this size. If more than 4 people are working out at a given time with the weights or machines, it feels packed. The bikes do not function, the cardio equipment need some serious maintenance.

Mail room - packages are left all over the mailroom. There can be 30+ packages laying on the ground at times. You literally have to hunt through to find yours.

Parking - There isn't enough parking, so guests, or even tenants, frequently have to park in an overflow lot 200 yards away.

Water quality - Black slime builds up on the faucets & toilet bowls very quickly.

Until all of these issues are verifiably resolved, I would avoid living here.
