Timucuan Lakeside at Town Center

I recently moved into this place, and honestly, even one star feels too generous. If I could give zero stars, I would without hesitation.

On my very first day, I ran the dishwasher, only to discover water flooding the floor. It turned out the drain hose hadn’t even been connected. While that might seem like a minor oversight, it was just the beginning. Within a week, the kitchen sink began to overflow. I watched the water level rise slowly, then rapidly, while I tried to get in touch with... maintenance. Despite multiple calls, no one responded for over 30 minutes—and by then, murky, foul-smelling water was pouring out all over the kitchen.

What made it even worse? There were bits of old food—grains of rice, for example—floating in the water. I never even cooked rice. So where did it come from? Likely the building’s drainage system, meaning it backed up from somewhere else entirely.

This property was clearly not ready to receive tenants. The management appears more interested in collecting rent than in providing even the most basic standards of livability. this place can receive all the good reviews in the world and it still wouldn’t justify signing a lease here right now. from my understanding, they began renovations last july, and it’s now june 2023 with no end in sight. when we signed on, we were told we would have everything in january. my partner and i have had no amenities for our entire time here, and there has been little to no communication regarding the constant delays. i don’t doubt the amenities will be nice when they’re available, but... who knows when that will be. if you know what’s good for you, DONT sign a lease here until the amenities are OPEN (could be months could be years who knows). but i HATE this place nothing can make up for this BS Lee mas

Location is great but by far not worth the money. It’s supposed to a smoke free community however many instances of smoking and the smell of smoke (marijuana)taking place which is a health concern for me. I won’t be renewing.

Timicuan Lakeside has been excellent for the three months I have been living here. I was impressed by the responsiveness of the maintenance team when their service was needed.

Grounds are well kept, maintenance issues are handled in a timely manner, and office staff is courteous and efficient!!
