Laketown Wharf Resort

I loved it, I lived in unit 1524 and had a awesome ocean view, only problems I had was getting security to hold elevator or give me a key so I could lock it. I had to track elevator down every trip.. small problem considering how nice my apartment and my view was

We lived here for three plus years.the elevators were out of order at least once a week.the pet policy is for long term lesser only.when a 50 pound pitbull charges in a head of the owner carefull how you react if you are not nice to certain peolpe your lease can be terminated with a 7 day notice to get out with no conversation.37.000 in rent never late.now we can say we us to live there.

When we first moved to Laketown Wharf it was all we could have ever imagined beach living would be. The rent was reasonable, staff and leasing office were attentive to our every need and worked around the clock to ensure we felt like human beings. Fast forward to 2015 when all the residents were pretty much made to feel like nothing, rent was raised nearly 300 a month as was simple things like water and washer and dryer, and half of our parking was also taken away as if that was not enough... hassle to begin with 5 months out of the year. New Management will find they have shot themselves in the foot, because no one with the kind of money is going to pay to rent there... they will live in Destin, Seaside or Santa Rosa and deal with less hassle, more upscale people and a resident only complex. If you like waiting 45 minutes for an elevator, having to be home at x time to find a parking spot that is actually near your condo, constant noise and aggrivation during spring break and summer, move to laketown wharf lol. New management has made it very clear that they have no consideration for anyone who leases long term, but good luck selling those trashy carpet units with white appliances. Lee mas

Pros - My apartment is beautiful, spacious with a gulf view. Rent is reasonable for living on the beach.
Cons - not enough elevators. Mgmt does not care about you once you sign a lease. Apt is a resort so it's loud, crowded and spring break is a nightmare. Mgmt wants to get rid of long term renters. Change rules monthly.

This is one of the best apartments complexes I've ever lived in. It has awesome amenities and you'll rarely find an ocean view for such a low cost. The majority of the building is a resort but there is a small percentage of long term residents. I would recommend this building to anyone.
