Apartments are relatively nice on the inside and I enjoy the high ceilings... but it is very expensive to attempt to keep cool in the summer. I say attempt because even with AC running constantly, it still turns into a sauna.
Nearly all the plants, bushes and shrubs on the property are dead or on their way there. There is virtually no landscaping and I get the sense that management could care less. It is also noisy most of the time with the highway in the background.
Gym.. really isn't a... gym for anyone trying to get a workout in other than using the treadmill. It is generally unwalkable if you are planning on leaving the complex.
Only real positives are the price point and being 10 mins from Central Ave.

I have lived here for 13 months in a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom with a garage. I am a registered nurse who worked the Covid-19 frontlines. So please trust me on this honest review. I didn’t mind living here since I don’t ask for much or bother anyone. I had two unexpected close family members pass within weeks. I called the office to explain that I would be late on my November’s rent and would pay both amounts December first. When I tried to pay they took off the pay option on my account. Not only was... I out of town the entire month of November dealing with untimely deaths. I was informed (after making over 5 calls to the office which were never returned) that I was facing eviction. They told me I had to come back into town and pay them in person. Once I came back to town. I presented to the office which is never open. Then I was informed that I would be accountable for eviction fees when I was a month late and then late fees for December because I didn’t come in the office before December 4 to pay the rent while I was in MO burying the man that raised me. Before all of this happened I was fine with the complex and didn’t bother anyone. Now I am looking to break my lease and move ASAP. This office is very unprofessional. They’ll tell you one thing and then do another. The only good thing there is Anthony the maintenance worker who goes above and beyond. That’s why the staff in the office is ever changing and they don’t even know their own rules. No one speaks to anyone and if I could do it all over again. I wish I would’ve moved elsewhere with people with compassion, professionalism, and common sense. I would never treat someone the way they treat people. Go look at the property and see how empty it is. It’s because of the office staff.
