The den works as a real office - a proper workspace and a project counter - which suits anyone working from home. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a glass-top stove, dishwasher and full-size refrigerator. There is a separate laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer. Both bedrooms have queen beds. Kitchenware, bathware and linens are all provided - bring a suitcase and nothing else.

Out back there is a large deck looking over mature trees, and the yard is fenced and level. It is a good spot for a dog. The house sits well back from the street with plenty of off-street parking and motion lighting.

Please note: this house shares its one-acre lot and yard with a separate one-bedroom home next door. Both houses are private and self-contained, each with its own entrance, its own deck and its own off-street parking. The yard and grounds are shared between the two homes.

The location is the other half of it. East Atlanta Village is close by for food, coffee, live music, shopping, gym and yoga. Little Five Points is about a four-mile drive and downtown is close. Being on the east side means an easier commute to most of the city's hospitals - Grady is about 6.5 miles, Emory University Hospital about 7, Emory Midtown about 8, and Children's Healthcare at Egleston about 7.
