Gibson | 5th & Idaho

Having lived here for many years plus working from home that entire time, everything has been good. Of the few maintenance issues, all have been resolved quickly. The location accommodates keeping our car in the garage for weeks at a time, and bicycling begins by rolling out of the bike room and onto a trail or the Greenbelt within minutes. Because this is downtown, some restaurant supply trucks make a racket every other night-- mainly Sysco (meanwhile, Shamrock is virtually silent while... unloading)-- which takes some getting used to in summer when sleeping with windows open. When windows are closed, it's been easy sleeping through that. Our cats seem happy here, too! Lee mas

We’re beyond happy and pleased to have chosen to start our new journey in Boise, here are the Gibson. The manager Maria is the best of the best. She caring, considerate, kind and really cares for the residents here. She made our move, which was site unseen, smooth and easy. She went beyond helping me via email or phone calls giving me details about the apartments that were available, which helped in making the right choice.

The manager, Maria and the Maintenance manager, Jeff are a great team... and they made sure we were well taken care of and communicated with during the process. The 2 of them are major reasons why it’s so great living here. Not all communities have great maintenance managers, which can really affect your living experience. Jeff is a maintenance managers that gets things done right away and done right. He’s beyond friendly and made our “move in experience” a great one, in the midst of moving NEVER being fun! Lol

We love that they have storage here in the building. The parking garage is always clean and we feel safe no matter what time we come home. The lobby is stylish and always clean, the same goes for the hallway on our floor. I could on and on how the building itself is awesome.

We’ve been here for 2 months now and we love this building, the managers, our neighbors, neighboring business (so incredible) and the City of Boise who really care about the residents in the Downtown area.

The Gibson is so great! Great people, amazingly convenient. We walk literally everywhere!!

Incredible location and value for downtown Boise. EVERYTHING within 5-6 blocks walking radius. Friendly, engaging Management Staff treat you like family. I re-located here from out of state, and instantly received a warm "Idaho Welcome" from both Gibson staff and fellow Gibson Apartment occupants.

Proximity to nearly everything accommodates walking such that our car stays parked for consecutive weeks at a time. It's great being able to ride a bicycle out the bike room door and be on the Green Belt or on a trail in the Reserve within ten minutes. Management and maintenance have been wonderful to work with and prompt in resolving any of the few issues that have arisen. Living downtown might not be for everyone but suits us well.
