AM1980 Apartamentos

Living at AM1980 has been a wonderful experience so far. The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to get to work, shopping, and entertainment. The building offers great amenities and thoughtfully designed shared spaces.

I especially appreciate the tech-enabled elements throughout the building, which make everything from entry to package delivery smooth and modern. The floor plan of my apartment is both stylish and functional, with an open layout that feels spacious and well thought... out. Living here has been ideal, only 1 situation that was out of apartment/property control. Otherwise everything has been fantastic. From neighbors, amenities, and management to maintenance. It is a great place to live

Do NOT rent here. I never leave reviews, but I am doing this to warn other people who are interested in this complex.

When I was looking to rent here, I already had seen that reviews went down DRAMATICALLY when management switched over, but I was hopeful that it wasn’t that bad.

Unfortunately, it was worse.

After viewing the apartment, I was encouraged to submit an application before leaving the complex because “someone else would probably get it if I didn’t”. I gave them $500 for the admin... fee and submitted an application.

After asking several times about my application status, only TWO DAYS before my move in date I was told that my application didn’t meet requirements (for a self-employed individual, they were looking for $72,000 to be SITTING in my bank account). Since I had NEVER been asked for this before and was getting zero answers as to what they were looking for, I had already bought furniture, hired movers, etc. by this time.

Not being able to meet the requirements, my app was denied and I was told I would be sent a check with my $500.

It has been nearly TWO MONTHS. I have called SEVERAL times. When Brian (the property manager), DOES answer, he quickly gets me off the phone by saying “he’ll get back to me”. Of course, he never does.

I will be submitting them to the Better Business Bureau and telling anyone who is looking to move here, as well as agents looking to move people in here, to look elsewhere. Lee mas

The apartment is great, the location is dynamite, rooftop view is insane. They can’t keep their staff and if anything breaks it’s never getting fixed. You can find a better deal

It’s great until you have ANY minor issue and then the leasing office is nearly impossible to get in touch with and unhelpful when you do finally reach them. I’ve lived in 4 different apartment buildings and this is the worst management I’ve ever experienced.
