Overpriced, paper thin walls, fire alarms go off all the time
The apartment complex itself isn't bad. The space for each unit is nice, the floors are good, and the layout is wonderful.
The appliances and cabinets are the cheapest of the cheap. The cabinet doors fall off because they're horrendously put together and attached. The AC/Heating unit fan stays on even when you have it turned off. The wifi can be painfully slow, even with a plan that is over 100 Mbps. You can't watch TV at a volume you barely hear without your neighbors filing a noise complaint... .
The fire alarms might be the worst part. I don't know if it is the tenants that stink and don't understand how to keep them from going off for the whole building, but its constant. In the past 5 days, they have gone off 5 times, twice on the same day. Or maybe its the kids with really loud cars revving them absurdly loud in the garage for the whole building to hear every single hour of the day.
They keep raising the rent to a ridiculous amount of money that isn't even worth it anymore. The trash service they provide is never on time and sometimes doesn't come some days of the week.
But the coffee machine in the lobby is cool (whenever they keep up with it), the pool is great in the summertime, and the gym is handy whenever you don't feel like going to the COREC.
