Alinium at Zionsville

I have two main issues with Alinium at Zionsville. I have been a Tennent for the past couple of years and Alinium partnered with a local fiber internet company called Axia out of Zionsville. The quality of internet is a significant downgrade from the AT&T fiber that I used before. The cost for Axia internet is built into the lease forcing residents to pay for an abysmal internet for 2026. AT&T is still an option but be prepared to pay for two internet services. The other issue I had is at... moveout. I followed all of the directions per my lease, and I received a $90 charge for missing keys and garage door openers. I dropped off everything that I received at the start of my lease and was still charged! The only reason why I am not giving Alinium a lower score is that the amenities and speed of maintenance requests was excellent. Lee mas

We had a good experience when it was the Villas. However, when it switched companies, it seemed like a lot of miscommunications from staff, learning curves from staff, and more crime. Additionally, we started having our upstairs neighbor (two known times) flooding their toilet which leaked into our apartment which was unsanitary. Advice, when you move, talk to the manager (who was super kind and supportive), not the staff, because we would have different answers for the same question which... resulted in financial strain on us. Finally, there seemed to be more police presence not just for patrol but for crime. I’m rooting for them to improve! It has a lot of potential. Lee mas

I regret to say that my experience renting from Brige & Held's Alinium Apartments has been nothing short of a nightmare. It is abundantly clear that the company's commitment to maintaining their properties was sorely lacking.

First and foremost, the condition of the apartment itself was appalling. The Trash pile outside of the non functional trash compactor was always unsightly, But perhaps the most egregious issue was the persistent water damage caused by pipes bursting. It's astonishing how... frequently this occurred around the entire complex, and each time it happened, it disrupted our lives and left us dealing with the aftermath of flooded floors and damaged belongings.

The companies response time and and time to act to these incidents was also very poor. Despite my efforts to contact the office, it took several days for the office to respond about the event and then 2 more days to present their plan of action. When i asked why this was taking so long the answer was that they were having so many similar floods that they couldn't handle all of them at once. Their plan of action was to finally bring over a dehumidifier more than a week after the incident! I wont even tell you the chaos of the poor remediation that took place after. Mainly you walk in without proper notice of your place completely trashed and covered in construction dust. I had to reside in an unlivable place for the next several days. They never did finish the work while i was there for the next two weeks. Just lived with a hole in the ceiling and got out quickly before the water soaked carpet started to get too moldy. (BTW, they then tried to charge me $500 for replacing that carpet and immediately sent it to collections rather than trying to contact me.)

But the problems didn't stop there. The amenities promised to tenants were a far cry from what was advertised. Take, for example, the pool. For an entire year, the pool heater remained broken, rendering it unusable for the majority of the seasons.

The rent prices were exorbitant considering the sorry state of the apartments. It felt like we were paying top dollar for subpar accommodations. When it is time to renew your lease, good chance they will be charging and additional 25-50% more.

The electric bill is higher than it should be with no fix. When moving out they will charge you extra for things that aren't true with no proof of damage. Then they send it to the debt collectors, so you don't have a chance to dispute it. Very poor communication as well, could never get in contact with them.

Electric bills are skyrocketing. Renters beware. Ask about energy efficiency. Check with the electric company. They'll report their buildings are NOT energy efficient. Renters can save hundreds of dollars a month and stay warm elsewhere.
