Royal Vista Apartments and Townhomes

We have lived in the TownHouses (condos) for almost 14 years and love it here. The management always takes care of repairs immediately and we have had every appliance repaired or replaced without issue.
We are happy that they take care of absolutely everything inside and out so we don't have to worry about anything.
It's really quiet and we never hear our neighbors. There's lots of open space and wooded areas with wildlife.
We are not pet owners and liked that there were no pets at all until... the law changed a few years ago to allow companion animals. Now there are lots of pets but we never see loose dogs or cats running around and there are strict rules to keep pets under control so they don't bother us. Lee mas

Apartment size and price is good. If you have any issues with other tenants, they do not care and will not listen. Do not enforce their own rules on allowing pets- TONS of dogs everywhere, or smoking- also a lot of smoking on balconies. The women running the office really seem like they cannot be bothered to do their jobs or even talk to you. Very rude, don't bother making a complaint. Maintenance is very nice but seem to be hiring some inexperienced younger gentlemen. Don't be fooled by the... safety feature of the "gated community" as the gate is broken most of the time anyways. Numerous conversations with management where I have had rude comments made to me after asking them questions with respect. Anytime I would bring up any concerns or questions they make you feel like it such a hassle for them to do their job. Being disrespectful to paying customers of the Royal Vista community for no given reason is not acceptable as they are the only people you can consult about anything you want done at your apartment or townhome. Royal Vista is the best place in the Grand Rapids area to rent. It is quiet, safe and centrally located. We are in one of the townhomes and we never hear our next door neighbors. It feels just like living in a single family home. We see wildlife often, hear the birds sing amongst all the trees and enjoy the open green spaces. Liz, the manager has been very easy to work with and the two times we have had to call maintenance, they always showed up the same day. I lived here for over 10 years and loved it. Everyone who worked there was helpful and friendly. The apartment was a great price without sacrificing quality. Two bedrooms/2 baths and washer and dryer. Honestly after 10 years i had no complaints.
