Not worth the money

I've rented in many places throughout my life, and I don't recommend renting here, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A PET. Management claims to love pets but if you have a dog just beware that they expect it to basically be a puppet. If it barks even the slightest bit or runs around in your apartment they'll threaten you. On top of this the apartment costs are extremely overpriced for the area and what your paying for. The whole building is very cheaply built. There are gashes in the hallway walls, dirty... stained floors, unclean elevator, and the dumpster is constantly overflowing with trash.

Amazing staff and property!

The leasing office staff is among the most professional I have ever met! The complex is beautiful and well put together. I have never been more impressed with a complex after touring.

Be careful

Everything started out fine with Volaris Lansing as I am an incoming graduate student and not from the area. The apartments are brand new and the management team seemed nice enough. The situation seemed too good to be true compared to other complexes in the area in terms of amenities, cost, and them accepting large breed dogs. Two weeks after putting down a $200 deposit I woke up to a news article detailing a shooting in the area. I Googled the address of the shooting to Volaris Lansing’s... address and it was only 2 minutes away. I called Volaris expressing my concern about safety, and they brushed it off in their words as the “sketchy” apartment complex down the road. I started researching the location and discovered that this is not a good part of town to be in. I respectfully asked for my deposit back, as I would be living alone and wouldn’t feel comfortable coming home and letting my dog out. The property manager’s response was that he would be living onsite, and the shooting wasn’t their fault. That may be the case, but five people being shot is not the same as cars being broken into. Bullets travel. This was a major deal breaker for me and I had to walk away from my deposit for my safety. If you are not from the area, do your research on the location before committing to this place, as they won’t give you your deposit back.
