Castle Way Apartments

I have lived here for 10 years. The most important thing to realize is that they will raise your rent by at least $50 every year. The interiors are very cheap. They would not even pay to have matching towel racks in the bathroom when one broke. The air conditioner is very weak and it will need to run continuously to keep your unit cool in summer. In winter the snow plowers are not very reliable and usually come late in the day, but the sidewalks are kept clear. The furnace is very weak and will... need to run continuously in winter to keep the unit warm. The insulation is very weak. The maintenance men will think up any excuse to not fix things, such as the screen door not closing right, the toilet not filling properly, etc. But if you call the office to complain about it, they will usually make them fix it. The carports are all deteriorating here and when they collapse they do not fix them, they just remove them. So if you get a carport and it collapses, they will not fix it and they will not deduct anything from your rent. The walls are thin and it is easy to hear your neighbors and they will tell you just call the cops if you complain about noise. Lee mas

I moved in end of March and love living here. They replaced my air conditioning unit right away when it stopped working right after move in. Office staff returns phone calls if you have any issues the next day. The laundry room in each apartment with a washer and dryer is awesome ! Each apartment also has its own outside entrance. It is quiet in the part I am in. Highly recommend as a place to check out

Pretty decent place to stay for the price. Very little guest parking. Maintenance usually fixes things in a timely manner. Walls are pretty thin, you can hear your neighbors having a conversation. Washers/dryers are pretty old. other appliances are fairly new. The leases are 13 months instead of 12. Good apartment for college students or a single couple. Not very spacious.

The apartment themselves are fine. Management is very rude and unhelpful (both front desk and office manager). Also the carports are no available because they are literally falling apart, and no one cares!

I lived at castle way for 6 years and loved it. It was wonderful to have your own entry as well as washer and dryer right in your apartment. It is close to everything in Saginaw. Management is very easy to deal with and always willing to help! Would highly recommend Castle Way Apartments!
