Loyal and past tennant.
My family and I have lived here for over 7 years and it has always been peaceful and serene. Many great memories were formed here, especially with the wildlife in the backyard and the great location. I absolutely loved living here, up until the new management occurred. The only other thing I could think of about this place, other than the manager, would have to be the loud train noise every night, thin walls, and how it's not that secluded anymore due to the Eagan mall being right by (so more... people/traffic.).
It's been around 3 years since I lived here, and honestly this place that I have treasured, has been declining faster than I have ever imagined possible. I have visited this place every now and again (since I had a few friends who still lived there) and So I have sadly been seeing this place go downhill. The new tenants seem to have troubles and are loud, the quiet long-term tenants all moved out. Everything here has became more pricey, less home-like, and more strict, all due to the most recent manager. She only cares about money and herself, and is very rude, cold, nosy and talks a ton of gossip. The past managers here, while I lived in Silver Pines, were very pleasant and kind women. This current manager is everything you don't want in a manager, let alone a neighbor as well.
If you don't mind having a manager that lives in the building, always making new rules, always seeming to be irritated, and will try and find anything to gossip about you to others who live there, then I say go for it but that's at you're own risk. I'd rather have my privacy, be less stressed, and be happy somewhere else over this place any day. I really do hope this place gets better in the future, but as far as I have been seeing it (over the past 3-4 years) it's not looking promising.
