The Reed Charlotte

Upon arrival I was greeted by Carol at the front desk, I loved the crisp pear water as well-nice touch! Ever since Amy and the Bozzuto team took over this property things have consistently improved! The renovations are beautiful and they even have a guest suite onsite for people visiting in the area. I would love to live here, great job!

Living at The Reed has been an absolutely perfect experience. From the moment I moved in, I knew I had chosen the right place. The apartments themselves are beautiful—modern, bright, and thoughtfully designed with high-quality finishes that make every day feel a little more luxurious. The community spaces are just as impressive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the property.

One of the biggest highlights, though, is Carol. She is truly amazing. Carol is always there for... residents—whether you need help, support, or simply someone who genuinely cares. Her kindness and dedication make The Reed feel less like an apartment complex and more like a community. She goes above and beyond, and it shows every single day.

The location is another huge bonus. The Reed is incredibly close to so many amenities in Charlotte—restaurants, shops, parks, and all the energy of the city—making it easy to enjoy everything Charlotte has to offer without the hassle of a long drive.

Overall, The Reed is the perfect place to call home: stunning apartments, a fantastic location, and exceptional people like Carol who make the experience truly special. I couldn’t recommend it more!

I toured The Reed today with Kaylin and she was super kind and easy to talk to. I’m relocating from Columbus, which has been kind of stressful, but this visit made me feel a lot better about the move. I’ve looked at a bunch of places around Uptown, and The Reed stood out right away.

They don’t have quite as many amenities as some of the other buildings, but the big windows and the views totally made up for that. The space just felt right. Also, the woman at the front desk was the nicest one... I’ve met during all these tours. That stuff matters.

I’ve lived at The Reed for a couple of years now, and I still really love my apartment. The views over Bank of America Stadium are a big highlight and make coming home feel special.

When I first moved in, the management was just okay. They did what needed to be done, but there wasn’t much extra effort. That recently changed when Bozzuto took over as the new management company, and honestly, it’s been a breath of fresh air.

We’re a pretty close-knit community here, so naturally, people were a... little nervous about the change. But I’ve got to say, Amy and her team have been amazing. In just the last month, they’ve done a complete deep clean of the building, inside and out. Carpet, tile, grout, upholstery—you name it, they cleaned it. The building looks better than it has in years. It’s actually kind of wild how much of a difference it’s made.

The new team has also been super friendly, and the resident events they’ve hosted have been way more thoughtful and well put together compared to the past. You can tell they really care about the community and want to make this a great place to live.

I already liked living here, but now it feels like the building is finally reaching its full potential. Really happy with the direction things are going.

This place is HORRIBLE!

Shootings all the time around the block.

Elevators do not work, and you will have to walk up 20 flights of stairs.

The window/walls leak and will mold the floors

The pool that looks so cool is freezing and they have a heater but it doesnt work, and the gym is tiny.

Peoples dogs pee and poop everyhwere not to mention puke in the elevators and hallways from after the bar that will sit there for days.
