Residence at Tailrace Marina

The elevators always broken or getting stuck which is extremely inconvenient and has been like that for years, the car port leaks white stuff all over everyone's cars all in the window seals all over the glass in the engine bay you name it, they do nothing about either and charge $85 a month to park just to get your car to look like it has white paint busted all over it. The units are nice but in many ways designed werid and could have much better use of space. The bar is on the floor because mt... holly is so low tier so tailrace is one of the nicer spots but yeah apparently they're selling it to new owners which is a good thing, hopefully they come in and replace the elevators and fix the roof because it's completely unacceptable Lee mas

An incredible apartment experience overall! In all my years of renting, what really makes the difference is the staff. The Residence has a winning team from maintenance to the Community Manager, Allie M. - recommend to anyone looking for a stylist, comfortable, and elevated accommodation in the Belmont/Mount Holly area

You can hear everything coming from the other apartments,seems the construction did not use ANY insulation. No storage in the apartment, no pantry. Took management almost 2 years to replace broken grills. I could go on, do not recommend in any way. Been through 3 managers in 3 years. Supervisors from head office have no people skills. Rude !

Beautiful place but they can't keep a property manager longer than a year and the same for maintenance which makes things difficult. There has been at least 5 different property managers in the last 4 years. The property manager will leave and they shift the leasing consultant to the property manager job and depending on the person they get on a power trip. The newest group is rude and unprofessional. And good luck needing something from maintenance. The only thing you're guaranteed to get is an... attitude. The entire bottom floor reeks of marijuana on any given day. Even though rent has almost doubled since COVID they cut out coffee creamer and cups. I've watched it go from being fully stocked to needing to bring your own cup. They claim the creamer is because it walks off but they have cameras so that should be easy to solve. Even the Christmas parties used to have full catered meals and now it's a tray of cookies from Walmart, maybe. Not that it's that big of a deal but they just get cheaper every year. Lee mas

Tailrace is situated in an area that allows easy access to shopping, schools, dining, waterfront activities and medical care! Many amenities located near the complex. Office staff and maintenance are courteous and friendly, willing to help to the best of their ability and maintenance requests are handled promptly, including emergency maintenance. The staff encourage residents to maintain a friendly community environment. Overall excellent location and environment. As with any property, there... are sometimes less than responsible pet owners in residence that don’t pick up after their pets which can be frustrating but management is prompt in attempts to address these and other issues in a professional manner.
