Ocean View Terrace Apartamentos

I cannot stress enough what a mistake it was moving here! The rental agency, Rent Asbury Park, tries to sell you on living the dream down by shore. Two blocks from the beach, all new appliances, hardwood floors, washer and dryer in unit and a parking spot to boot! Well, the new appliances are all JUNK from Ikea, the hardwood floors are those cheap, fake wood floors that scratch very easily (and they WILL take the cost of any damages to these floors out of your security deposit and even ask you... for more money on top of that), and forget about ever having access to a parking spot. It's suppose to be permit parking only and all non-permitted cars are to get towed, but they never do. The lot is constantly filled with cars that don't belong there and the rental agency does nothing about it.

As far as the tenants in the building go, a majority of them are an absolute nightmare to live next to. There is constant music blaring at all hours of the night, smoking (the building is non-smoking), and no one picks up after their dogs. When addressing concerns with the rental agency, they either ignore your e-mails or tell you to that tenant issues need to be handled between tenants.

If you're looking for a nice place to live by the beach, avoid this place and Rent Asbury Park at all costs! Lee mas

310 6th ave in asbury park is being renovated from the inside out. Brand new bathroom with very pretty back splash, brand new kitchen (which includes gas stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher), brand new wood flooring, brand new washer and dryer IN the unit, central heating and cooling, and a balcony with out door closet. The building itself needs work but the landlord has kept to his word and is modernizing as I speak. Building management always keeps us updated via email to let us know when it's... going to be extra noisy or if they have to come in the apartment. Whenever I have a problem, it is fixed that day, or within that same week. The apartments are filling up as each one is being redone so get in here while you can! 2 blocks from the beach and all asbury action! Oh, and there's always parking available. The building has a lot and there is always street parking. One con to this apartment is that there is not a lot of closet space. The layout itself is very roomy and open. Lee mas

The building was recently purchased by a proven developer who is following through on their promise of completely overhauling the property. The apartment itself is beautiful with all new flooring, appliances, and finishes and has a washer/dryer in the unit which is a HUGE convenience. There were a few minor glitches with the freshly renovated space on move-in day and management had someone there to fix everything within hours. The exterior of the building and common areas still need to... renovated but these are supposed to be completed by the Fall and I have no reason to expect they won't given the quality of the apartment unit renovations. Add all this to a great location a block from the beach in vibrant Asbury Park, off-street parking, and a VERY competitive rental rate, and you have yourself a winner here. Once the exterior renovations are complete this building will no doubt be a 5-star property. Just had a friend recently move in and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND to everyone! Lee mas
