Wayne Gardens Apartments

I have been a resident here for 2 yrs now and I love it here. Love the fact that I can have my own washer ,my own parking spot and garage. Is a very quiet complex. My experience with the property manager Frankie is always pleasant and when I need a maintenance request the matter is always solve quickly.

I’ve been a resident here for 15 years and have had a positive experience. It’s a quiet community with responsive maintenance and a great location near Knight Park. Overall, it’s a comfortable and reliable place to call home.

Worse than the deepest circle of hell.
Terrible property management, maintenance requests either get canceled or deleted without any notice, and my car was stolen right out front of the building.
Its not all bad though. There's a gym that no one can use and you get a garage that doesn't lock and is filled with trash.

This is a terrible place to live. I wish I could include pictures. I’ve been here for over 6 years, and I have absolutely nothing to show for it. The place is falling apart to put it lightly. A dead mouse has been in the corner of our laundry room floor for over 3 months.. just chillin never picked up. Black mold everywhere. Cabinet doors literally cracking off the handles and the floors have holes that you can see through to the basements/garages below. Nothing is ever fixed on time- if at all.... . my kitchen faucet has been “in between jobs” for over a year now. New packaging still hanging out on my dining room table. No call back, no communication. The last person ON property was Kamal- that was LAST September… still not worried about the safety of their tenants. Never bother to respond to huge health hazards for our living conditions when brought up to management. They don’t even know who rents out which place, one guy walks through the back parking lot once a month to sell another unit to the next unsuspecting sucker… and it’s sad. My apartment is in actual shambles and the pure audacity alone that these people have to feel okay with themselves to sleep at night being able to charge the insane amount they are trying to charge…it’s a dump. There’s bugs everywhere, the front main doors don’t lock correctly, I’ve been trying to get 6 different major emergency issues fixed for over 2 years now. Just keep it moving and don’t even bother. Management is terrible. They allow maintenance to walk in to apartments even after being told I did not consent to them entering without me there (someone was home 90% of the time). I was in my bedroom and heard maintenance enter my apartment and was terrified. The people that run the office are never there and when you call they are extremely rude and unhelpful. Rent has gone up almost $400 in a year while some tenants are paying half of that. There are always people screaming at 3 or 4 in the... morning no matter the day of the week. The renovated apartments are not worth what they are charging, everything is done with a short cut. My windows were not sealed properly, which made the entire apartment freezing, while still having to increase the thermostat which made the electric bill hire.
