Disappointed by the Management’s Response
I had high hopes for this apartment, so what happened soon after moving in was disappointing. One of the appliances didn’t work the first time I used it, and the repair process took about three weeks with multiple follow-ups from me and two rescheduled visits. I had expected all appliances listed in the lease to be fully usable from the first day and hoped the issue would be treated as a priority, but it does not appear it was handled on a priority basis.
I also requested a rent reduction for... the affected period. My initial emails to the property manager went unanswered until I followed up twice, and even when I set clear response deadlines, I did not receive replies by those dates. After those two follow-ups past the deadlines, I eventually received a denial of my request. I then sent another email with a clear deadline to continue the discussion, but I haven’t received a response as of the time of writing this review.
I still hope to enjoy living here, and I hope to see improvements in the management’s responsiveness and communication going forward.
