Parc at Maplewood Apartamentos

The door lock system is defective. You do not want to live in this place unless you don't mind periodically being locked out of your apartment with no recourse. The key pad for the apartment will just stop working from time to time and the management thinks this is ok

Living here gets better every day. We know the area well and have friends who live in other buildings in town. We would definitely never live anywhere else.

We have lived here for years, but a new company took over the management of the building a couple of months ago, and things have changed big time. Any repairs that weren't being taken care of were handled right away. And little things that you don't think matter... like a fresh coat of paint and some TLC, it really makes a big difference! We're right across from the park. We stroll to the train station whenever we want to go to NYC. Downtown Maplewood is beautiful, has great stores, delicious... restaurants, lots of culture in general. Our apartments are big and quiet, too - with great water pressure! Love love love living here! I am completely in love. This place is just amazing. Big, beautiful, and QUIET apartments. Great amenities. WALKING DISTANCE to the train station. The people who live in the building are super friendly and there's a sense of community, but everyone respects each others' privacy. Again, just can't say how happy I am to have found this place.

Great location, but cheap finishes, insanely loud air conditioning/heating units, low end/poorly designed and often broken kitchen appliances (dishwasher leaks and doesn't dry), drains are always clogged, no hot water in AM (likely because boiler isn't big enough for # of units), no water pressure, can't run dishwasher and wash machine at same time (since building is "environment friendly" - which in this case means cheaply built)... I can go on and on, but that should be enough to dissuade any... reasonable person from renting in this hell hole. Lee mas
