Lindsley Arms Apartments

The buildings themselves are nice, somewhat old but still held together. I am in a 2 bedroom (paying about $1,500/month electric & cable). I like that all the utilities are handled, except electric.

There is plenty of parking on both the street and behind the buildings where the resident spots are. There is also a community pool which is huge! It is $20 for a summer pass to the pool and you can get 1 per resident. (All guests are $5 each time). The location is very convenient for a trip into... Morristown, close by to a shoprite/walmart, etc. and right by an entrance to 287 & the morristown train. The prices are the best I've seen for Morristown yet.

Most of the apartments come with a little porch in front. There is no central air so air condition units are set up throughout the house. The kitchen doesn't have a unit so gets rather hot in there. The kitchen is new, stainless steel appliances & gas stove. The cabinets in the kitchen are very high up so we have a stepping stool for those hard to reach areas.

The laundry units are in a basement-like room walking distance from my apartment & accept credit cards at each unit. They have 3 dryers & 3 washers & there is usually at least 1 open.

One thing that is bothersome is the thin walls (I can hear my neighbor above cough!).

Overall, I would definitely recommend these apartments to someone on a budget. But if you have a little extra cash & are able to spend a little more on rent, other apartments in Morristown are much nicer. Lee mas
