Glenwood Apartments

I was forced to vacate my unit due to ongoing habitability violations, including recurring black mold and unresolved maintenance issues. Despite these health hazards, the landlord has refused to waive an “insufficient notice” fee, even though the conditions clearly breached New Jersey’s habitability laws.

The unit is already being shown to new tenants, which contradicts their claim of financial damages. I’ve documented everything and have filed formal complaints. Proceed with caution.

They take weeks to fix small issues!!!! Have a mold issue that took them over. month to address with a small child in the apartment. Paint peeling in the bathroom instead peeling off all the old paint they just painted over it. Door falling apart in the bathroom and was told that they are not allowed to replace it. My toddler already got hurt on it. If you want to do repairs yourself this is the place for you!! DON’T MOVE HERE!!!

I am a current resident and getting things repaired is a hassle. Currently it is raining in my living room on a Friday night and maintenance said there is nothing they can do but cal the owners since they control when the roofing companies come out. So I will have it raining indoors until they decide to get roofers in. I reported the small leaks month's ago and. Othing was done and now it is raining indoors. They just want money and don't really care about the tenants.

Glenwood is a really nice complex in beautiful Old Bridge Township. The leasing office is well run. Claire Is fabulous and is incredibly helpful during the rental process. The office helps to make the transition as smooth as possible. Large apartments and great amenities in a park-like neighborhood.

The description of this community on their website made me literally laugh out loud after having lived here In the recent past. Where on there website does it state these are non smoking apartments? Oh that's right, it does not. If you are a smoker, which is your God-given right, they don't tell you that you can't, it may be in the fine print of your lease but wouldn't you prefer to know that prior to moving in? You can not smoke inside which is not a problem for me, but you can not smoke on... you outdoor front steps or even your on your OUTDOOR BALCONY without getting threats of eviction. The materials they use are the cheapest that money can buy and forget it if you have back issues. The refrigerators are so small you have to bend town to even see into the it. Worst experience I have ever had in my life. Forget this place. Did not take long before I said Goodbye. Lee mas
