Park East Apartments

The only thing decent about this place would be its location with a great view of the Hudson river and being across the street from Donnelly Park. Aside from the local eats and views there’s really nothing price worthy about this building. There’s constant heating issues throughout the winter. Each apartment does not have its own heating system instead it’s one system per two apartments. Therefore if your neighbors complain about the heat somebody constantly has to come into your apartment to... fix it even though the heat may be blasting in yours at uncomfortably high temperatures. Top floor has ceiling/roof issues all over within apartments and hallways, maintenance will just patch it up and never provide a permanent solution. The bathrooms are outdated. Elevator is dangerous. Water is often shut off without any notice. Management is either reckless or careless (probably both) and doesn’t inform tenants properly. Packages are constantly being stolen from the mail room. Mail isn’t even distributed correctly. The men who work in this building worked tirelessly to provide short term solutions because it seems the owner doesn’t care to invest into permanent solutions. So many things in my apartment don’t work instead, they just slap a sticker on it and call it a day. Not worth your money. Lee mas
