Standart Woods Apartments

Management likes to raise rent to unreasonable levels but provide the bare-bones minimum service to tenants as they can get away with. Appliances are old and barely functional. The common areas of the buildings filthy with cobwebs and dead bugs and grime. Laundry room doors (internal and external) don't close and lock. The lines in the parking lots are faded and barely visible, leading to people parking crooked and taking up extra space with their vehicles. The floors are sagging and creaking... and warped. The AC unit is mounted directly in the middle of the living room wall making it impossible to set up furniture without having to sit directly in the stream of the AC. The AC is also mounted low on the wall instead of up high (hot rises we learned in 5th grade).

No doubt back in the day this place may have been a go-to rental destination, but now it's faded, dingy, falling apart, and over-priced. Avoid! Lee mas

These apartments are very nice. Staff and maintenance are excellent. The apartments are updated. Layout is perfect. Quiet place to live. First place I'd recommend anyone to live. We lived our time spent here!!

Two weeks after moving in my apartment flooded, finding out two weeks before I moved in it had flooded, but management didn't disclose that information. Sewer has backed up and flooded the laundry room, the heater broke mid winter and flooded the laundry room. my refrigerator had broken twice, the second time the maintenance man broke my pictures and magnets on the fridge. Then just yesterday the dryer was blowing smoke in my neighbors apartment, and they had to come and clean the vent. The... place is filthy, the front door has about 4 inches of dirt on it, that I refuse to touch it, I open out with my foot. I have requested the name of the management company, but told "it's noon of my business, and that information can not be disclosed." Proceed with extreme caution. Lee mas

Very inviting atmosphere community-based welcoming environment great for Family's couples and even singles really close to Shopping Center and for that matter in walking distance of a lot of different places including the community college the downtown area and many many many different choices of restaurants in my opinion this is probably a one of the most unrecognized utopias of the modern age and definitely one of the most underrated area love love love love love the standart woods... apartments Lee mas

Very friendly staff and great clean apartment maintained great lawn care great snow removal. There is great pool on site. Sidewalks walking distance to shops stores and restaurants. New laundry units in evey building. I tell everyone about this apartment complex.
