80 Winthrop St

In New York it's all about location location, so it's no surprise that people pay astronomical amounts to live right in the city but if you're like me and has a budget then Brooklyn is the next best thing ! However we all know that with the move of all things hipster Brooklyn has become quite expensive too so here I am in Brooklyn right off of Flatbush ave. let me start by saying my building's proximity to the subway is decent about one block and half, it's right off of Flatbush which for some... is great because Flatbush basically has everything ! Fast food?? Dunae read ?? Whole sale stores and discount stores ?? Liquor stores ?? But with all of that the streets has its fair share of loitoers although they've never done anything to me and are often just hanging out catching up ... But if your looking for a park slope tree aligned neighborhood this isn't it it has a very urban feel ... As for the building it's great ! Quiet ,washer dryer, working and updated and clean elevator (it's an OLD building so if you like that charm then you'll be fine but if you're modern and stainless steal then I would caution you to keep on looking, lol the rent is comparable for the area 1100-1500 depending on the Sq Ft I gave it 3 out of five cause I would love if the nieghborhhod was like a fort Greene or park slope but you can't have it all (as for safety females I would give it 4 out of 5 I don't ever feel unsafe during the day or evening since its right off of a busy street but I would not travel late (12am or later) from the subway cause like I said earlier it is still very urban) hope all of that helps happy hunting Lee mas
