The Meadow Lake

I've been in my apartment for almost 12 years - i love the home I've created its a bit of a respite in crazy, manic New York City. Maintenance can be a challenge, the staff in my building seem to congregate in the lobby - socializing with each other and the residents. The staff/porters perform basic cleaning but the major repairs and answering repair requests are the responsibility of the Building Superintendent who is always overworked.

Apartments in this building are quite spacious and have tons of closet space. Although kitchens and bathrooms could use some updating, you can't beat the convenience of living here! Building super lives on premises and 18-hour doorman are a couple of the perks! Full laundry room in the basement. Building is safe and well-kept with a beautiful courtyard and playground. Close To E & F Express Subway, LIRR, shopping, great schools, and restaurants.

This is my first place and I couldn't ask for anything better than this 500sq studio. the area is safe and quiet subway is a block away and very short walk to supermarkets and shops. Everybody who I have come in contact with is friendly. It's a doorman building with intercom so I always feel safe in and out of the space. there is so much natural sunlight that shines in from the courtyard and closet space is perfect for just me. I'm loving my space and the exploration of the Forest Hills area.
