Island Village Apartamentos

Lovely place. Except they do not fix anything. I had a roof leak from December 2017 to April 2018 with nothing done. I refused to pay rent for May 2018 and they never got back to me regarding a thirty day notice I gave them due to the apartment being inhabitable due to the flooding in the attic from the roof. They hit my credit a year and a half later when I was buying a house saying I owed them $879 for the month I did not pay due to my roof leaking. Never got a call. Never got a letter back... regarding my 30 day notice, nothing from when I did move. The business is sketchy, since the landlord has a PO box in Williamsville, NY for all business inquiry's and no actual business address. In order for you to take them to small claims, you have to go downtown during work hours since it is an LLC. I got the Attorney General involved and the landlord is greasy and never returned communication with them or myself. The funny thing is, they rented the same townhouse to one of my friends and she is having the same issues except with her heat. DO NOT RENT. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY. GREASY. Lee mas

I’ve been here for a few years now and was going to move until they hired a new property manager who has CLEANED this place up! All the units got new roofing and they’re remodeling and upgrading appliances. Melody has been so Amazing and accommodating to my family and I, as well as friends who I recommended move here! She has really stepped things up and made this place a beautiful little community! Super super please with everything and very excited to see the new changes coming. Highly... reccomend this place! When first moved in it was a nice place to live. Felt like a home. Now that they moved in a property manager it feels like living in a prison. She is making bad changes. You cant have things on your patio expect a grill and a table and chair. So basically you cant enjoy things outdoors here. I thought when you move to somewhere new you put your touches on it to make it feel like home. Am in the process of finding a new place just like everyone else here is doing. Dont move here. They are even... raising the rent. The price they want for these are too high and they are not worth the price. Lee mas
