The Promenade at Lynbrook

Live in the surrounding area and needed to share immediate feedback on the new property management. When the building first opened the management seemed to care about the neighborhood and its impact on the community. The new team doesn’t appear to have the same belief which is represented in their lack of maintenance of the exterior of the building among other things. There’s always garbage left surrounding the outside and the landscaping is not maintained. There used to be gorgeous flowers,... fresh mulch and well kept now it seems everything is dying. They didn’t even keep up with the Lynbrook holiday decorations in 2023.

There were 3 recent false fire alarms that went on for hours! One around 5am on 1/24/24 and the other on a Sunday, 2/4/24 and then again recently on Friday, 4/19/24 @ 330am. We later found on there’s no property manager on site which is why the alarms went on for so long. Imagine living in an area with fire alarms blazing for hours, definitely pity the tenants who had to experience it first hand. The old management company always had someone present.
Hopefully they get it together soon otherwise they may lose all their tenants to the new building being constructed. Lee mas

The expression putting lipstick on a pig is the best way to describe the Cornerstone. It is absolutely a facade where on the exterior everything looks shiny & new but the reality is a cheaply built & poorly designed building. The biggest issue by far is the management of the building which is currently AMI. It has been issue upon issue after being here for only two months. from a never ending draft in the apartment to appliances not working. The building website indicates "Cornerstone Yorkshire... offers high-end amenities to elevate every aspect of your life" however there is very little that is high end about the building. It is overpriced and management is only concerned about lining their pockets rather than providing a luxury living experience & space. Lee mas

I enthusiastically recommend The Cornerstone at Yorkshire. It is a high-end luxury apartment building that is well-maintained and run by a detailed-oriented, thorough, and responsive management team. Not only are the facilities world class, but so is the team that manages the property. I could not have asked for a better place to live: Great location, close proximity to NYC, close to the LIRR, and a short drive to the beach.

Probably the worst building I have lived in. Building is overwhelmed with crime from people tires getting stolen and car left on cinder blocks to apt break-ins that management claimed they emailed the tenants that I somehow did not receive. Also try getting ahold of anyone from there nearly impossible the number they have just gets re routed to a 3rd party answering service. You pay for a parking spot and they will still get your car towed by management even if car is registered with them. You... can hear every step your neighbors takes and here any conversation because the walls are so thin. Fire alarm is consistently going off and building has to be evacuated. Friends come over and always ask why are there so many cops always in front of your building. Building is new and tenants already breaking leases and can’t seem to flee fast enough Lee mas

The Cornerstone Yorkshire is such a nice community. I love calling it home. It a peaceful and quiet place. Patrick and Zach are the best and always there to help with anything . Highly recommend.
