Regret Signing My Lease - Multiple Issues with Empire Run

I have been a tenant at Empire Run for about one month in 2025. Unfortunately, I signed a one-year lease because I can't wait to leave.

Major Issues:
Building Maintenance: The hallway has a persistent terrible smell, and it's unclear if management plans to address this issue.
Noise Problems: Units facing the road are extremely loud due to traffic noise. Additionally, there is ongoing construction directly across the street, making the noise situation even worse.
Poor Unit Quality: The apartment...
itself has significant quality issues. The laminate flooring is loose and bubbled in several areas, particularly in the center of rooms. When you step on these areas, you can feel the flooring press down noticeably.
Unresponsive Management: This is by far the worst aspect of living here. The staff is nearly impossible to reach by email or phone. They use an automated AI phone system that is completely ineffective. Management refuses to provide direct email addresses or phone numbers for staff members, leaving tenants completely dependent on whenever they decide to respond to requests.
Excessive Documentation: The lease document is long.
Several things don’t apply but you must sign every page regardless.

Warning to Prospective Tenants:
Don't make the same mistake I did by being taken in by the "nice" sales staff during your unit viewing. Once you agree to sign the lease, these helpful representatives disappear and clearly don't care about tenant satisfaction or concerns.

I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for housing.
