Ridiculously Overpriced Mediocre Apartments
First of off - despite how the property is marketed and priced - there is nothing luxury about this place. It generic, mass produced, apartment-style housing. The units are small - I’ve lived at other similarly marketed corporate type properties in various states and these apartments have the same type of layout you’d expect, everything is just around 25% smaller. Had a 2br/2ba and elected for no kitchen table because there would have been no room to walk in. The dishwasher is miniature, I... generally only need to run a load every 2-3 days, I found myself needing to run 1-2 loads per day. And not sure what genius designed the kitchen but you would need to be over 6 foot to reach half the shelves. Be prepared to have a stepstool at all times in the already small kitchen. The bathrooms had an off smell which the complex staff seemed pretty hush hush on. The apartment was dirty when I moved in, had to immediately do a deep clean. One of the sinks leaked. The cabinets in the bathrooms are falling apart. They’re new apartments so they look okay at surface level now but it’s so obvious how cheap everything is, I’m sure in 5-10 years it will be a dump. The appliances and sinks are so obviously repurposed and not new. The walls are paper thin, can hear everything going on with the neighbors. The master bedroom is a joke. I would hardly consider the closet a walk in closet and the master bathroom has a tiny stall shower. And if you are coming here from out of the area prepared to be robbed by the electric provider - bills in the winter can approach $500 a month (that’s with being diligent about turning off lights, turning heat down when not home, etc.). Also - NO CELL SERVICE, I REPEAT THERE IS NO CELLPHONE SERVICE ON THE PREMISES. People drive so fast through the complex. Also parking is a HUGE issue. The garages are so tiny, unless you have a compact car you’re unlikely to fit. Also the driveway is impractical because if someone is in the garage they’re blocked in. Therefore most people are forced to park along the road which causes a lot of congestion. Pet friendly but no where to walk your dog really, the complex is right off a highway with no sidewalks and there’s no dog park at the property. Go out between 7 and 9 am and 4 to 6 pm and it’s just mobs of people trying to walk their dog. With all that said could have given a higher rating if the price matched what you get, it certainly does not. These are apartments that should be at a $1,000-$1,500 price point.
