Very clean units especially in the gym and the lounge

The apartment is pretty much on campus and is so convenient to all events on campus. The pool and grill are located next to each other. The apartments are practically brand new.

The building is newly furnished but the wall is not sound-proof at all. I have issues with sleeping so I decide to move out after a half year. I talked with the managers for the re-leasing process but found it very complicated and the managers are deceptive. First, they don't let you go unless you find a new roommate to take over your lease, and they won't help you find one. Second, I asked the managers several times if there is any extra fees including re-letting fee when I move out, because... the lease says the managers "may" charge $350 re-letting fee. They said no and made me optimistic. But on the day I left, they did charge my re-letting fee. They explained "the company requires us to do so" "we treat every tenant equal"... They explained everything except why they didn't keep their promise. Third, they charge you fees but not write clearly what the fees are used for. They charged me one month's rent as the security deposit but later claimed that is not security deposit but the rent of July. They charged electricity fees but not wrote which month the electricity fee was paid for. I finally understand the electricity fee I paid every month was actually the electricity fee of two month ago. Fourth, they send lease of the next year (yes, it is one more year lease) to every tenant's email every month to attract them to renew the lease in advance. In conclusion, the apartment is noisy, and the management is poor, deceptive and can make you crazy. Think twice if you really want to move in!

This property is overpriced and management is absolutely horrible. Much better options in Kent

They literally have all their employees write and rate their reviews. Everyone that I met that lived there also hated it. The management is terribly disorganized and rude. They never bother to actually handle the resident issues. They simple don’t care. And don’t bother staying there if you actually want to sleep in or sleep at all. The fire alarm goes off 50 times a week at the LEAST. Then they advertise that the hot tub is open year round but they have it open for like a few weeks then close... it down with the pool with no explanation. The electric bill is slightly ridiculous. Usually adds 100-150 extra on top of rent. Lee mas
