Flats on Memorial

Nice-ish apartment on the inside. Smells like fast-food on the outside. Noisy neighbours revving car/motorcycle engines. Pool regularly closed for 'maintainance'. No follow through by office staff who clearly don't care about you once you've signed the lease. Issues with Utility billing not being transferred to and from me that were entirely the office's fault. Bogus cleaning charges after move out despite having pretty much begged for them to do a walk through PRIOR to my lease end (they said... "don't worry", I should have known better). Worst leasing experience I've ever had. Would not recommend. Lee mas

The office ladies are amazing very nice and on top of things , the apartments are beautiful, the only thing I have to complain about is the parking. All in all worth it!

I have lived here for about a year now. When I moved in, I did a 6-month lease, which at the time I was unsure how long I would be there. After the lease was up, I went to a month to month in order to figure out what I wanted to do next. I contacted the office to let them know I would like to go ahead and extend the lease, well left a message twice as they rarely answer. Low and behold the next month still the month-to-month charge and no new lease in my email. I called numerous times again and... emailed and still nothing until about another month later I got an email stating they would be sending me a new lease to sign, and they would fix the month-to-month charge, BUT once again heard nothing. I then finally was able to talk to a gentleman who said I would get a new lease in my email the next day and guess what another month later NO NEW LEASE. I have continued to have to pay the extra $250 a month because the online system does not allow you to pay anything other than the amount stated, and I was not going to get late fees on top of everything else. So, I would guess I am about $1000 in fees I would not have incurred if someone would have responded to me, and before the management responds that I have not tried to contact them, let me state I have all emails printed with dates and times as well as a log of all phone calls. I travel for work and am rarely there and this is the reason I personally cannot come into the office. I really miss Anthony that was there when I moved in because he did at least answer phone calls and emails as well as pretended to care if the residents were happy. Lee mas

Everything was great at first but then you start noticing how cheaply it was built. I can hear my neighbors conversations and I know they can hear mine. I’ve lived at many “upscale” apartment communities and understand noise happens but not like this. At first glance the apartments are beautiful but don’t believe it.

Ever since Anthony - the previous property manager left it’s been going downhill. He took care of any issues we had in a timely manner. Now, good luck trying to get ahold of anyone... at the office. Lee mas

on multiple occasions trash compactor was down the exterior of the entire apartment complex is shoddy and dirty and the fees for moving out or absolutely absurd for general wear and tear charging someone $25 for mostly clean stove absurd charging someone a $55 for a carpet that is generally untouched ridiculous completely ate our deposit of 400 dollars and charged us more after that. completely unacceptable do not recommend.
