Inconsiderate Management

If I could give this place zero stars, I would.
Went a month without hot water, in which they didn't give a refund or discount for our already overpriced water bill. Financially speaking, has zero concern or care for their residents amid a global pandemic. If you want inconsiderate management and freezing cold water, this is the place for you!

Very Bad apartment

Before I vacated my apartment, I went to their office with my lease agreement papers and we agreed on when I am going to vacate and how much security deposit I'll be getting back. The person who agreed to reviewed the document, pointed me to the section that says I have to give 2 months notice etc.
But after I vacate the apartment, they not only skip my security deposit, they charged me $220 in reverse. No reason was given.
My credit score is down 100 points because of these evil people.
Stay... away from this apartment. They don't even respect their own agreement documents when it comes to gouging money from leavers one last time they have chance to do that.

8 maintenance calls in a month and a half

Lease an apartment in the J building at your own risk serious on going unresolved maintenance issues. 8 work orders in a month and a half and issue still unresolved

New tenants

Monroe terrace is an awesome place to live if u have a young and small family. There are lots of small families with young kids animals and a pool. We keep the property really clean and looking nice. We have free and fun community parties. This month we're having a dive in movie nights which is like a drive in but in the pool. I really love this place and don't wanna move because of the greatness of the leading staff and how beautiful the apartments are. Hope to be your neighbor someday.

Horrible Place to Live

mold was found in my apartment and they did very little to get rid of the full problem. They fixed the plumbing leak but it took them 6 weeks to get that completely fixed and they have never truly addressed the full extent of the mold, just covered it up with new drywall and called that fixed. My air conditioner just broke too. I am sure it will be at least winter before they get that fixed. The upstairs neighbors walk very hard to have a running child that shakes the whole building at times... . I have guests who come over and ask me how I can stand it. I can't! This place is all about the money and less about truly caring about their residents. Horrible place to live.

It is unfortunate that you feel this way. Maintaning and improving our community remains paramount in our priorities. Addressing concerns of moisture is a serious matter. A step by step process is required, which can take time. Our team remains... dedicated to handling things the right way, which does not always correlate with simple or swift. This is a principle that we employ across the board and we are proud to meet the needs of the majority of our community members.
Having neighbors in close proximity is a constant in apartment living. The benefit of being in a community is having a team that can address noise concerns on your behalf. Our team is only able to do so if brought to our attention.
