Lovejoy Station Apartments

Overall the apartment is adequate. This is my second time living at Lovejoy Station Apartments. The first time I lived there back 2006 for 1 year lease my 1 bdrm apartment was nice but there was no balcony which I was promised. Fast forward to 2020 I now live in a studio apartment in the complex and think its ok but the apartment was not cleaned throughly. When I moved in there was dirty carpet, (lots if hair) hair in drain, and spider webs everywhere when I first moved in.
However management... has always been good to me! Lee mas

My brother passed away on Dec 2nd in his ling term apt at Lovejoy station. It took a week to get ahold of the manager. After fighting with assistants for days, as his only living sibling, gfnally I am allowed entry to collect his personal belongings. They were giving the housekeeper rights of entry. I called, made an appointment for 12/12/17 as I do not live in Oregon. Today I received a very documented report of charges to make the apt rentable. He lived there since the building opened.... Besides being unreasonable as they are aware family is coming, it is cruel. I am also a senior on disability, however, I was, in my carreer a professional property manager with a very high CP rating. Instead of paying Decembers rent which I had planned, I will now file a legal suit. We make a 4 hour drive to clean and remove property tomorrow, with not only sorrow for the loss of my brother, but anger at the pettiness and beligerant attitude of the Management company. Lee mas

Lovejoy Station is an income-restricted building. It's pretty no-frills, although the location can't be beat. And if you qualify to live here, you're pretty much guaranteed the lowest rent in the Pearl. The management is on top of problems quickly. Except for a few loud folks and street noise (which are part of most urban living arrangements), it makes for a decent residence.

This is an awesome building if you want to live in the Pearl District but don't make a ton of money. It's income restricted so it's affordable for almost anyone.

Everything is well maintained and the location is stellar. There are grocery and drug stores within easy walking distance and the Portland Streetcar stops right in front of the building. You seriously don't need a car if you live here and there are wonderful restaurants and shops on nearly every street within a mile radius of this... place.

There is always something to do here and even though this area is notoriously expensive, you can still live here and enjoy all the things the residents of the more high end buildings enjoy. This is a great place to live! Lee mas
